Sakura comes from the word "Pocket" (Japanese language which means "flower") plus the suffix which states the plural "ra". In English, the flower is called Sakura cherry blossom.

Sakura is the Japanese national flower that blooms in spring (early April to late April). For the Japanese, Sakura flowers are an important symbol that is often associated with women, life, death, so that we can find the symbol of Sakura flowers anywhere in Japan, on consumer goods such as kimono, stationery and kitchen equipment.
